  • Do we need to be home to receive the meals?  No one needs to be present to receive the meals as we deliver the meals in cooler bags with ice sheets to keep the ingredients safe and fresh until evening; around 8:00 PM.
  • If I purchase a subscription do I need to use those weeks consecutively every week?  We understand that schedules can be hectic so you have 6 weeks to use a one month subscription, 4 months (16 weeks) to use a 3 month subscription, and 8 months (32 weeks) to use a 6 month subscription.
  • In what order should I be fixing the meals?  There is no specific order to prepare the meals, however we do suggest that you prepare the meals that contain delicate vegetables, such as salad, asparagus, cut tomatoes, or basil, sooner than later.
  • Where do I store the meals once they are delivered? Bags containing the meals should be placed in the refrigerator as soon as possible. The meals should be prepared within 3-4 days after delivery. Depending on your plans for the week, meats may need to be kept frozen after delivery.   Keep in mind that meat thawed in the refrigerator can be refrozen without cooking.  After thawing in the refrigerator, items such as ground meat, stew meat, poultry, and seafood should remain safe and in good quality for two days before cooking.  Red meat cuts (such as beef, pork roasts, chops and steaks) should remain safe for 3 to 5 days after thawing.  When there is not enough time to thaw frozen meat, or you’re simply in a hurry, just remember: it is safe to cook it from the frozen state. The cooking will take approximately 50% longer than the recommended time for fully thawed meat and poultry.
